The Present Moment

is all we ever have

There are no yesterdays or tomorrows

They come and go in the now

as the sets constantly change on the stage of life

The Eternal Now

Regardless the how or why

we have no control of it

We can neither change or affect it in any way

what is, IS

Regardless our response

it remains absolute and unchanged

Our emotions, desires, frustrations, kicking, screaming, etc.

are shed like raindrops on the mountainside

Do we kiss,  or curse the stone we stumbled over?

Do we blame another for cluttering our path?

We constantly choose either

acceptance or resistance

Acceptance means gratitude for “what is”

Resistance means disappointment, anger, etc.

Herein lies the key to our moment by moment

peace or unhappiness.        ldl
